Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Your books hold some of the most sensitive information about your business. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls around it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, business entities, and support PIN.
- Financial records you enter or import: accounts, transactions, invoices, contacts, and documents.
- Technical data needed to run the service: sign-in events and basic device/browser information.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: keeping your books, producing your reports, delivering the bookkeeping and CPA review services in your plan, and supporting you when you ask. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or use your records to train AI models.
Who can see your books
You, the users you invite to your company file, and — where your plan includes it — your assigned Fifth Ledger accountant and reviewing CPA. Platform administrators can open a client file only to provide support or services, and that access is logged. Each company's records are isolated at the database level.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request an export or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@fifthledgerpro.com; some financial records may be retained where the law requires it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect.
